The meeting was called to order by Dawn Knoebel at 6:11 pm November 2, 2016

Vice president report:
Volunteer’s needed for Yankee Candle orders for parent pick up.
Need to extend more time for the can good donations. 1 week isn't enough.

Class projects: This year classes decorated pumpkins to a book theme. Teachers requesting for a different class project for next time. 

Ideas include: Smaller pumpkins to decorate or individualize the project for each student to participate.

September Minutes

The meeting was called to order by President Dawn Knoebel at 6:01pm.

New Business: 
Amy Snyder has stepped down as H.A.R.T treasurer and Amanda Noblit has been nominated by Lynn. Angela and Amanda second nomination.
Labels for Education program has been discontinued as of July 2016.
Box Tops for Education (Sherry Humphrey – Chair) -  will begin the week of 9/20 and are due 10/14/2016. Currently there is $975.00 left in account. The classroom who collects the most Box Tops for Education will receive a party. 

Vice President report: The H.A.R.T donations are at a standing $1,085.00 as of 9/15

Secretary’s report: May minutes were reviewed and approved by Sherry.

Principals report:
Mr. Fetterman is very thankful for the attendance at September’s H.A.R.T meeting. He mentioned that Volunteers need all their clearances turned in and approved in order to volunteer for any school related functions. Fire Prevention week starts Ocotber 9-15. Ocotber 5th is the Fire Prevention Day event at G.C Hartman Elementary. 

New business & Upcoming events:
Yankee Candle Fundraiser is currently underway starting 9/14 and ending 10/14. The delivery of the Yankee candles will be between 2-4 weeks. The chair person in charge of Yankee Candle is Sue Griscavage.
Harvest Festival – the day of festival is in need of volunteers.
Hartman Hustle – Top fundraising class and student from each grade will receive a prize.
SCRIP cards – dates TBA

The Meeting was called to order by President Terry Genners at 6:33pm.

In attendance were:  Officers – Terry Genners, Bob Eick, Amy Snyder, and Dawn Knoebel;  Parents – Amanda Noblit, JudyLynn Weaver, Linda Hoy, and Jennifer Daubert.

Bob Eick had nothing new for the Vice President’s report.

Amy Snyder gave the Treasurer’s report.  Our balance as of 4/30/16 is $32,401.00 and class funds are as follows:
Kindergarten - $1,598.63
1st Grade - $2,283.26
2nd Grade – $4,851.11
3rd Grade - $5,695.57
4th Grade - $2,119.45
The report was approved with a motion from Amanda Noblit and a second from Jen Daubert.

Secretary’s report.  The April meeting minutes were reviewed.  There was a motion to approve from Amanda Noblit and a second from Linda Hoy.

Principal’s report.  Mr. Fetterman would like to thank all of the volunteers for all they have done throughout the year.  Teacher Appreciation Lunch and Breakfast were greatly appreciated by the staff.

HART & SMART will be conducting joint meetings starting with the 2016/2017 school year.  Meetings will be held the first Wednesday of every month.  HART from 6:00-7:00pm and SMART from 7:00-8:00pm.

Free babysitting will be available during meetings upon request.

April 6th, 2016

The Meeting was called to order by President Terry Genners at 6:39pm.

Vice President’s report:  Field Day will be held May 26th, with a raindate of May 27th.  Need 10-12 volunteers with clearances.

Treasurer’s report:  Gertrude Hawk - $8,829.38.  Still need field trip and bus prices.  There was a motion to approve from Linda Hoy and a second from Jen Daubert.

Secretary’s report:  The March meeting minutes were reviewed.  There was a motion to approve from Sherry Humphrey and a second from Linda Hoy.

Principal’s report:  Mr. Fetterman was not in attendance.

March 2, 2016

The Meeting was called to order by President Terry Genners at 6:31pm.

Vice President’s report:  Bob Eick reminded everybody that we need chaperones with clearances for the upcoming field trips.  Still need dates and pricing.

Principal’s report:  Mr. Fetterman was pleased with the great turnout for the meeting and movie night, but the sound system needs work.  He also reminded us that PSSA’s will be April 11th - 15th.

Old Business
Family Movie Night – Thank you to all volunteers and everybody that attended the event.  There is debate whether to purchase an individual or annual license.  One time showing is $172.00, and an annual license is $498.00.

Gertrude Hawk delivery is Tuesday, March 8th at 11:00am.  Looking for volunteers to sort and distribute candy until 7:00pm.

January Minutes

HART MINUTES
January 6, 2016


The meeting was called to order by President Terry Genners at 6:35pm.

In attendance were:  Officers – Terry Genners, Bob Eick, Amy Snyder, Dawn Knoebel;  Parents – Tom Levan, Sherry Humphrey, Amanda Noblit, Vanessa Stine, and JundyLynn Weaver.

Bob Eick had nothing new for the Vice President’s report.

Amy Snyder had nothing new for the Treasurer’s report.

Dawn Knoebel had nothing new for the Secretary’s report.

Principal’s report.  Mr. Fetterman had several items to discuss.  Box Top funds were used for new Roar T-shirts at $1,000; and a Box of Light class payment of $650.  He is also thinking of purchasing new die cut machines, and building a new handicap access to the playground.

Old Business
Script card fundraiser update:  total is $2,536.88.

New Business & Upcoming Events
Next Box Top submission is March 1st.
Spring Fundraiser – Gertrude Hawk orders due February 19th, delivery March 7th.
Spring Picture day February 18th – volunteers needed
Gallagher Scholarship fundraiser – 80’s Night on February 13th at the Elysburg Fire hall, HART will be donating the Disney Tickets.
Vacant positions this year for President and Secretary.  Nominations will be needed for April elections.
Class field trips were discussed.  Mr. Fetterman needs to find out costs, destinations and dates.
HART will not be accepting any teacher requests for reimbursements.  It might be put in the budget for next year.
Family Movie Night planned for February 26th.  Need to get license, movie ideas (rated PG), snacks (popcorn & water).
Teacher Appreciation Day is Tuesday, May 3rd.  Suggestions were made to have a breakfast and lunch catered.

Our next meeting will be February 3, 2016 @ 6:30pm in the Library.
