HART MINUTES

January 6, 2016

The meeting was called to order by President Terry Genners at 6:35pm.

In attendance were:  Officers – Terry Genners, Bob Eick, Amy Snyder, Dawn Knoebel;  Parents – Tom Levan, Sherry Humphrey, Amanda Noblit, Vanessa Stine, and JundyLynn Weaver.

Bob Eick had nothing new for the Vice President’s report.

Amy Snyder had nothing new for the Treasurer’s report.

Dawn Knoebel had nothing new for the Secretary’s report.

Principal’s report.  Mr. Fetterman had several items to discuss.  Box Top funds were used for new Roar T-shirts at $1,000; and a Box of Light class payment of $650.  He is also thinking of purchasing new die cut machines, and building a new handicap access to the playground.

Old Business

Script card fundraiser update:  total is $2,536.88.

New Business & Upcoming Events

Next Box Top submission is March 1^st.

Spring Fundraiser – Gertrude Hawk orders due February 19^th, delivery March 7^th.

Spring Picture day February 18^th – volunteers needed

Gallagher Scholarship fundraiser – 80’s Night on February 13^th at the Elysburg Fire hall, HART will be donating the Disney Tickets.

Vacant positions this year for President and Secretary.  Nominations will be needed for April elections.

Class field trips were discussed.  Mr. Fetterman needs to find out costs, destinations and dates.

HART will not be accepting any teacher requests for reimbursements.  It might be put in the budget for next year.

Family Movie Night planned for February 26^th.  Need to get license, movie ideas (rated PG), snacks (popcorn & water).

Teacher Appreciation Day is Tuesday, May 3^rd.  Suggestions were made to have a breakfast and lunch catered.

Our next meeting will be February 3, 2016 @ 6:30pm in the Library.

November Minutes

HART MINUTES

November 4, 2015

The meeting was called to order by President Terry Genners at 6:30pm.

In attendance were:  Officers – Terry Genners, Bob Eick, Amy Snyder, Dawn Knoebel;  Parents – Ginger Peoples, JudyLynn Weaver, Jennifer Daubert, Amanda Noblit, Sherry Humphrey, and Jill Swank.

Bob Eick gave the Vice President’s report.  A big thank you to all of the volunteers.

Amy Snyder gave the Treasurer’s report.  Our balance as of 10/31/15 is $20,910.16 and class funds are as follows:

Kindergarten - $900.01

1^st Grade - $1,014.53

2^nd Grade - $2,892.55

3^rd Grade - $3,430.31

4^th Grade - $729.90

The report was approved with a motion from Sherry Humphrey and a second from Amanda Noblit.

Secretary’s report.  The October meeting minutes were reviewed.  There was a motion to approve from Amanda Noblit and a second from Jill Swank.

Principal’s report.  Mr. Fetterman was not in attendance.

Old Business

Fire Prevention day went well with enough food.  Thank you to Lynn and helpers.

Yankee Candle was handed in, but available online til January.  Thanks Sue.

Harvest Festival was a great day.  Thank you to Sherry, Amanda & crew.  Also a thank you to our high school volunteers. 

Hartman Hustle went well.  Thank you to Jen, Ang & crew.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest Winners:

Meyers – cutest

Winners will receive a cupcake party.

New Business & Upcoming Events

Box Tops – last submission was $1,597.10.  Winners will receive a cookie party.

Elementary Memory Book Sale Ends – 11/19

Parent Teacher Conferences – 11/24 & 11/25 (No School)

Thanksgiving Recess – 11/23 – 11/30 (No School)

Book Fair

Scrip card sale letters out next week and due 11/20.  Chairs are the officers.

Raffle ideas for Disney tickets

Extra playground money $700.00 for indoor games & new footballs.

Ideas for a family game night

Our next meeting/Holiday party will be Wednesday, December 2, 2015 @ 6:30pm at OIP in Elysburg.
