September Minutes

The meeting was called to order by President Terry Genners on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 6:30pm.

In attendance were:  Officers – Terry Genners, Bob Eick, Amy Snyder, Dawn Knoebel;  Teacher Rep – Tia Brown;  Parents – Angela Charnosky, Allison Wetzel, Andrea Koch, Courtney Everitt, Kasie Thorpe, Nick Thorpe, Erica Schaeffer, Bobbi Hancock, Sherry Humphrey, Amanda Noblit, Sarah Knoebel, Kim Pesarchick, Joanna Race, Michelle Conway, Linda Hoy, Sue Griscavage, Kim Levan, Jen Delsite, Kristin Gemberling, and JudyLynn Weaver.

Bob Eick gave the Vice President’s report.  Membership donations are at $1,685.00.  More envelopes are still coming in.  Money will go into class funds.

Amy Snyder gave the Treasurer’s report.  HART will be moving our account from Union Bank in Mt. Carmel to First Columbia Bank in Elysburg.  Our balance as of 8/1/15 is $18,569.27 and class funds are as follows:
Kindergarten - $100.00
1st Grade - $728.53
2nd Grade - $2,575.55
3rd Grade - $2,942.31
4th Grade – $511.90
The report was approved with a motion from Angela Charnosky and a second from Linda Hoy.

Secretary’s report.  The May meeting minutes were reviewed.  There was a motion to approve from Amanda Noblit and a second from Michelle Conway.

Principal’s report.  Mr. Fetterman was not in attendance.

New Business & Upcoming Events
Budgeted Expenses for the 2015-2016 school year is $92,150.00.  This report was approved with a motion from Sue Griscavage and a second from Amanda Noblit.

Clearances are needed for volunteering.

To volunteer you need the following:
* Act 34 (State Police)
* Act 154 (Child Abuse)
* Act 114 (FBI Fingerprint - PA resident less than 10 years)
* Volunteer Affirmation Form (PA resident more than 10 years)
* Volunteer Application
* Volunteer Acknowledgement & State of Confidentiality Form

T-shirt design contest for 3rd & 4th grades…winner picked at next meeting.
