March 11 and 14 are snow make-up days-- school is in session
March 17- Green Day ( wear something green to school -K thru 4)
March 22nd -25th-PSSA testing ( 3rd and 4th grades)
March 28th- End of Marking Period
March 28th-April 1st-- Kindergarten Registration
March 28th-Sky Dome Assembly ( K-3)
March 30th-Gym Show 6:30 in Elementary Gym for 1st and 4th Grades
April 4th-April 11th-- Spring Book Fair in Large Group Area
April 5th- HART Meeting in elementary library
April 7th- Spring Picture Day (K-4th)
April 8th- Reading Night in The Elementary School ( 6:00-8:00 p.m.)
April 7th and April 8th will be pick up for Gertrude Hawk and Schwan's Frozen Food ( 1-7 p.m.)
Anyone interested in volunteering for the above HART events, please email one of the officers. We are always grateful for any help we receive and so are the kids!!
Danee Ryter McCoog is working hard on the upcoming Reading Night. A local author and illustrator, Robert Bender, will be on hand that night to share a story and join in the fun. We will have lots of fun activities -kids can come dressed in pajamas and bring a flashlight and sleeping bag so they can curl up and enjoy the camping atmosphere, as well as reading a good book! We hope you will join us for Reading Night and be a part of the fun!! Information and Robert Bender book order forms recently went home with the students. Book order forms as well as RSVP's for the event are due back on March 25th. Checks should be made payable to HART for any books being ordered from Robert Bender and should be sent into the office in an envelope marked with your child's name and homeroom.
Please join us for our next HART Meeting which will be held on April 5th at 6:30 p.m. in the elementary library!! We hope to see you then!
March 20th is the first day of Spring-hopefully the nice weather is just around the corner!
